Crayons Are A Way Of Life

Today I felt inspired by my Illustration homework. Currently I am working to "effectively" illustrate six emotions. Agony, rage, greed, ecstasy, serenity and compassion. After going through many unsuccessful ways to illustrate these six emotions, I settled on crayons. Why? I have no idea! But it seems to be working so i'm sticking with it!

I love everything about crayons. How they come in every imaginable color, the crazy names they are given, and even the pencil sharpener that comes in the back of the big boxes. But most of all I love the innocence behind them. They remind me of my childhood and how easy those days once were.

Anyways, while I was feeling inspired with the idea of crayons I decided to run to the store and get a box of 64 crayons. I thought "There must be something I can do with these that is something new!"So I ended up making a GIF of the 64 crayon box filling up. As you can see it worked out perfectly.

This is also the first time I have successfully uploaded a GIF to my blog. Super happy how it turned out!
