I'm gonna start off by saying that 2013 was one of the best years of my life. I got to go to the inauguration of our country's president. I lived in Rome for three months where I met some amazing and lifelong friends. Got to see the white smoke coming out of the Sistine Chapel and not one, but two Popes. I finally turned 21 and had an amazing week long birthday celebration on Lake Michigan with friends and family. I got to start my final year as a Hound at Assumption College. I finished my volleyball career with 1,118 digs, which is 118 past my goal. I had a career high of 41 digs in one match. And, I got the chance to see my niece, nephew and sister often.
Overall my experiences in the last year would never have happened without the love and support of my family.
ANYWAYSSSS.. Moving on to NYE. I went to Chicago for the night with two amazing people, Kelly and Stacey. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe NYE party and had a couple interesting encounters, to say the least! We watched the ball drop, screamed, kissed each other and gave thanks to be spending it together.
