We start the week with me getting a sales associate job at my friends home decor and clothing store, Bungalow 47 (Such adorable stuff-- check it out). I got approved to move into my new apartment in Detroit in September, which I am extremely excited about. Finally out on my own..literally!
Then my mother and I drove the nine, very boring, hours to my sisters home in Scranton PA.
We visited there for a three days then my sister, mother, brother in-law and myself drove into New York City to meet my dad for the New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers baseball game so my dad could see his one true love, Jeter, play at home for his 63rd birthday.
I also got to catch up with one of my best friends from college-- who I have been apart from for only a couple of days because of her random/not random visits to the mitten-- in NYC for a walk on the High Line and a refreshing summer drink.
My mother and I just got back, minutes ago actually, and are beginning to unpack and prepare for our next summer stay-cation that starts tomorrow when my sister and the kids fly in.
Quick turn around I know but that is just how this family rolls.
This past week has brought great news and amazing experiences that shockingly I think you should take a look at...
